Dr. Ingo Meisel

Dr. Ingo Meisel has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Dr. Ingo is currently serving as the Head of Asset Management at Wien Energie GmbH since October 2018. Prior to this, they worked at GE Power as a Senior Engineering Manager Mechanical Systems from August 2016 to September 2018, and as an Engineering Manager Mechanical Systems from November 2015 to July 2016. Before joining GE Power, Dr. Meisel held positions at Alstom Power, including Engineering Manager Mechanical Systems from September 2014 to October 2015, and Steampath Engineer, Project Lead from July 2008 to August 2014. Dr. Ingo also has experience working at Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH as a Project Manager Innovation & Predevelopment from September 2006 to June 2008, and at the Research Center Karlsruhe as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from January 2004 to August 2006.

Dr. Ingo Meisel completed their education in fluid mechanics. Dr. Ingo started their academic journey in 1994 and graduated in 1999 from TU Karlsruhe, earning a degree of Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering. In 1999, they pursued their Diploma Thesis at the Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. Later, from 2000 to 2004, Dr. Meisel attended the Research Center Karlsruhe, where they obtained a Ph.D. degree in Fluid Mechanics.
