Herbert Brandner

Herbert Brandner began their work experience in 2005 at EVN AG, where they worked in project development until 2011. Herbert then moved to WEB Windenergie AG and held the position of Head of Project Development and CFO of WEB North America Inc. from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, Brandner joined Wien Energie GmbH as a Senior Project Developer and later became the Head of Department Windpower. Currently, they are the Head of Asset Development and Management for Wind-, Water-, and Photovoltaik Power Production at Wien Energie GmbH.

Herbert Brandner's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Technical Forestry Highschool, where they earned a degree in Forestry as a Forest Technician. Herbert then went on to pursue higher education and from 1997 to 2003, Herbert attended WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), earning a Master's degree in Economy and Business Administration. Their educational journey continued as they enrolled at Technische Universität Wien from 2007 to 2009, focusing on Renewable Energy and earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree.
