Michael Fuchs

Michael Fuchs currently serves as Stabsbereichsleiter Corporate Affairs at Wien Energie GmbH since December 2019. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Director for Renewable Energy, Electricity, District Heating and Cooling, and CHPs at the Federal Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism from September 2017 to December 2019. Michael's experience also includes working as an Expert at the Federation of Austrian Industries from August 2013 to August 2017, and serving as Head Of Strategic Development and Ph.D. Student at Technische Universität Wien from November 2006 to July 2013. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as an Officer at the Vienna City Fire Department from November 2004 to November 2006. Michael holds a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from Technische Universität Wien, a Master of Business Administration from Montanuniversität Leoben, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Technical Chemistry from Technische Universität Wien.
