Ljiljana Zekan

Ljiljana Zekan is an accomplished compliance specialist with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving at Wiener osiguranje Vienna Insurance Group d.d. since May 2018. Previously, Zekan held the role of Data Protection Officer at the same company from December 2017 to April 2021, and was the Head of the Legal and Compliance Department at Erste osiguranje Vienna Insurance Group from 2005 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Zekan was the Head of the Liability Insurance Department and Product Manager at Allianz Zagreb d.d. from 1998 to 2005, and worked as a lawyer at a law office from 1992 to 1998. Zekan's expertise includes MTPL claims handling and international claims mediation, alongside a strong educational background with a Master of Laws from the Law University at Zagreb and ongoing studies at IEDC since 2013. Additionally, Zekan has completed the Barr exam through the Ministry of Justice.
