Karl Wagner

Karl Wagner has extensive work experience in the legal field. Karl is currently the Head of Corporate Legal Affairs at Wienerberger AG, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Corporate Legal Counsel at Pipelife International GmbH from November 2007 to May 2019. Karl also served as the Director Legal at CEMEX Austria AG from November 2005 to November 2007. Karl began their career as an Associate at Schoenherr Attorneys at Law from November 2001 to November 2005.

Karl Wagner obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) between 2006 and 2010. Karl pursued further studies at the University of Vienna where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Law from 1995 to 2001. In 2000 and 2001, Karl attended the University of Cambridge and earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in European Law. Additionally, in 2011, they obtained a certification as a Compliance Officer from the Austrian Standards institution.
