Charles C. Kingsley

Mr. Kingsley joined the firm in 1962 immediately after graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School. He had previously received his B.A. degree from Yale University.

Mr. Kingsley is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, is a Member of the American Law Institute, and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He formerly served as a Director of the Center for Family Business of the University of New Haven. He has served as the Chairman of the Estates and Probate Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, as an Officer of the Connecticut Bar Association, and as President of the Connecticut Bar Foundation. He has also served as a member of the Connecticut Probate Revision Study Commission and of the Tax Revenue Study Commission of the State of Connecticut. The Connecticut Bar Association awarded its Charles J. Parker Legal Services Award to him in 1987.

Mr. Kingsley has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the category of Trusts and Estates since 1983. From 2006 to date, Mr. Kingsley has been listed in Connecticut Super Lawyers magazine.

Mr. Kingsley has frequently lectured on various aspects of estate planning and administration and legal problems of charitable and other exempt organizations.
