Loren Johnson

Loren Johnson is an experienced software engineer and engineering manager currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. since May 2023. Johnson has held various roles, including Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Manager at Hylo from December 2016 and previously worked as a Product Owner at Holochain, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Maker Media, contributing to the MakerSpace.com team. Earlier experience includes leadership as Head of Engineering at Habitworks, Senior Web Developer at Motista, and founder of Venado Partners, LLC. Johnson also has development experience with Imagine Education and WithinReach. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science with a Business Emphasis from Seattle Pacific University, completed in 1997.
