Martin Rulsch

Martin Rulsch is an experienced project manager at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. since September 2015, focusing on the promotion of digital volunteerism and the development of local support structures within Wikimedia communities. Key responsibilities include coordinating local initiatives, conducting surveys to assess funding effectiveness, and leading innovative outreach campaigns. Prior to this role, Martin served as an intern at Wikimedia Deutschland, supporting local initiatives and community engagement. Additionally, Martin has taught at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, assisted in research projects at Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften, and contributed to digitization efforts at De Gruyter. Martin holds a Master of Arts in Classical Philology and Languages from Freie Universität Berlin, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Latin and Literature, and has a solid academic background grounded in various classical disciplines.
