Mónica Pinedo Bajo

Mónica Pinedo Bajo is an experienced engineering manager currently working at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. since May 2019. Prior roles include consulting for 180 Degrees Consulting, managing product development at GoVolunteer, and coordinating IT and English courses for children at Saelao Project. Mónica has a background in software engineering, having held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at StayFriends GmbH and as a software developer at Axisclic, among others. Educational qualifications include a Computer Engineer degree from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, a Master's in Intelligence, Interface, and Integration from Université Joseph Fourier, and a Computer Science Engineer degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Mónica has also contributed to various environmental volunteer projects in New Zealand and Australia.
