Adam Baso

Adam Baso is the Director of Engineering, Structured Content at Wikimedia Foundation. Adam has over 10 years of experience in the information security field. Adam has worked as a Senior Manager at Best Buy, a Senior Security Consultant at Symantec, and an Information Security Specialist at Northrop Grumman IT. Adam has a wealth of experience in software security assurance and secure SDLC processes. Adam has also delivered monthly software security refreshers and maintained and promoted information security standards. In addition, Adam has performed penetration tests and secure code and configuration reviews of critical components, facilitated secure design working sessions, and supported RESTful security-enabling API.

Adam Baso holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management with a focus in Management Information Systems. Adam also holds certification from (ISC)2 in CISSP and from Sun (Oracle) in Sun (Oracle) Certified Java Professional.
