Caitlin Virtue

Caitlin Virtue is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and donor relations. Currently serving as Senior Development Director at the Wikimedia Foundation since October 2013, Caitlin has played a pivotal role in raising significant funds, including $14 million for the fiscal year 2018/2019, and has managed strategic initiatives for major donors. Prior to this, Caitlin held various positions at the American Heart Association and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where achievements included generating $500,000 annually for the Go Red For Women movement and cultivating corporate partnerships. Caitlin's career also includes roles in grant writing and educational support at the Milwaukee Art Museum and Alverno College. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame.
