Cassi Mecchi

Cassi Mecchi serves as the Vice President of People Growth & Belonging at the Wikimedia Foundation since April 2024, overseeing Learning & Development and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives. Prior to this role, Cassi was the Director of Inclusion for Europe, Southwest Asia & Africa at Netflix from September 2020 to February 2024, and the Diversity & Belonging Senior Lead at Spotify from August 2018 to August 2020, where major contributions included program implementation and supporting Employee Resource Groups. Cassi's experience at Google from June 2011 to July 2018 involved advisory roles in equity and diversity, as well as managing university programs. Earlier positions include Human Resources Manager at Danone Brazil and multiple internships focused on social entrepreneurship and cultural management. Cassi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and has additional educational experience at Corvinus University of Budapest.
