Hal Triedman is a Senior Privacy Engineer at the Wikimedia Foundation, focusing on privacy and data governance policy, privacy reviews, and advanced privacy engineering since April 2021. Previously, Hal held positions as a Data Intern with the New Hampshire Democratic Party, where machine learning algorithms were deployed for campaign analysis, and as an Algorithmic Recommendations Intern at The New York Times, developing recipe recommendation algorithms for daily users. Additional experience includes a Research Assistant role at ELVO Artificial Intelligence, contributing to automated diagnosis research, and a Digital Organizer position with DigiDems, enhancing skills in cybersecurity and data analytics. Hal's early responsibilities included mentoring youth as a Summer Camp Counselor.
