Helen Pang

Helen Pang is the Vice President and Controller at the Wikimedia Foundation. Helen has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on risk management and controls.

Pang began their career at Wells Fargo in December 2006 as a Risk & Controls Officer. In this role, they were responsible for partnering with business groups to identify, assess, manage, and mitigate current and emerging risk exposures associated with their activities and operations. Helen also monitored, measured, evaluated, and reported on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group and enterprise function.

In July 2021, Pang left Wells Fargo to join Patelco Credit Union as their Controller, VP, CPA. In this role, they were responsible for the credit union’s overall financial management and reporting. Helen also oversaw the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Pang has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley. Helen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of California.

Helen Pang has a B.S. in Accounting from Central Washington University. Helen is certified by the California State Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Helen Pang reports to Jaime Villagomez, Chief Financial Officer. They work with James Baldwin - Director of Finance, Lynette Logan - Director of Administration, and Shaoyan Xu - Accounting Specialist.
