Sara Thomas

Sara Thomas is a Programme Manager at Wikimedia UK, having transitioned from the role of Scotland Programme Coordinator in January 2023. With extensive experience in managing partnerships and volunteering across the UK, Sara has also served as a Crew Coordinator for KELBURN ARTS LTD since 2019 and held various roles in event coordination and training, including Volunteer Coordinator for Mugstock Festival and Wikimedian in Residence positions with both the Scottish Library and Information Council and Museums Galleries Scotland. Sara's background includes significant involvement in fundraising and community engagement, with a PhD and MA (Hons) from the University of Glasgow and a Diploma in Fundraising from the Open University.
