Maria Escobedo

Maria Escobedo is an accomplished writer with extensive experience in animation, currently contributing to multiple projects including "Ariel" for Disney Junior and "Rosie's Rules!" for PBS. Employed as a writer and story editor at 9 Story Media Group since March 2020, Maria also holds a part-time lecturer position at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts since August 2015. Previous work includes writing for Nickelodeon's "Santiago of The Seas: Season 2," DreamWorks Animation's "The Dew Drop Diaries," and various projects for Disney and Netflix. Maria Escobedo holds a BFA in Film from the School of Visual Arts and further education from New York University.
