Derik van den Berg is a seasoned professional in the animation and visual effects industry, currently serving as the Head of Realtime at Wild Child Animation since April 2021. With a robust background that includes roles such as VFX Artist in freelance, CG Artist at Flying Circus, and Head of 3D at Loco VFX, Derik has developed extensive expertise in various aspects of digital production. Previous experience as a Senior TD and Character & FX Supervisor at Bugbox Animation, along with early roles in fracture testing and animation, showcase a comprehensive skill set. Derik's educational background includes studies at TD-College and Boston Media House, complemented by a diploma in Fashion Design from Joline Fashion Academy.
