Luke Brockman

Luke Brockman is an experienced professional with a background in sustainability studies and anthropology, holding a BA in Cultural/Linguistic Anthropology and a BS in Sustainability Studies from Oregon State University. Currently serving as a Project Intern at Wild Salmon Center, Luke collaborates with various organizations, including WDFW and the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, to inform salmon passage and reintroduction projects through stakeholder interviews. Previous roles include a Project Intern at Madison Ave. Collective, where Luke contributed to web development and qualitative data analysis, and marketing communication assistant at Oregon State University’s College of Liberal Arts, where Luke promoted the arts and wrote news articles. Additional experience includes a position as a News Writer for The Daily Barometer, an internship as a Fire Specialist with Oregon State University Extension Service, and hands-on work in the fishing industry as a deckhand on Alaskan commercial salmon fishing vessels.
