Niko Viramo

Niko Viramo has extensive work experience, starting with their current position as the CEO of Wild Thyme Restaurant Group. Prior to this, they worked as a University Lecturer and Member of the Advisory Board at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems. Niko also held various roles at Viking Cruises, including Corporate Director of Hotel Operations and Corporate Operations Manager. Before that, they founded and served as the Managing Director of Fizz Hospitality for over 12 years. Niko also worked as a Guest Lecturer at Modul University Vienna, CEO of Azalea Hotels & Resorts, Senior Manager Hotel Development at JJW Hotels & Resorts, and Senior Project Manager at CA Immobilien Anlagen AG. Additionally, they were the Head of the Hostels and Campsites Division at Verkehrsbüro Group and worked in Hotel Operations at Marriott International.

Niko Viramo is currently enrolled in the Stanford LEAD Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which they started in 2023 and is expected to complete in 2024. Prior to this, they attended THNK School of Leadership in 2013 and 2014, where they completed a Post Graduate Executive Program. In 2006 to 2010, Niko obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Swansea University, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Before that, from 1998 to 2000, they studied at Modul University Vienna and earned a Diploma in Hotel Management, focusing on Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management. Lastly, from 1990 to 1994, Niko completed their A-Levels in Economics, Physics, and Languages at High School Järvenpää in Finland.
