Maximilian de Rozieres

Laboratory Technician at Wildcat Discovery Technologies

Maximilian de Rozieres has four years of work experience. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied voltage controlled magnetic anisotropy (VCMA) in a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) (CoFeB/MgO/CoFeB) with in-plane magnetisation. Maximilian also constructed key components that enhanced experiments and results, and co-authored two publications. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at Institut Néel CNRS. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Materials Engineer at Teraloop Oy, where they wrote and completed their thesis titled “Magnetic Strength Compatibilization of Soft Magnetic Composites using a Magnetic Force Sensing Device”. Maximilian also assisted in the construction of a 100 kW/ 3kWh magnetically levitated high speed energy storage device, did further research on the magnetic/mechanical properties of soft magnetic composites, and led a business development team towards a 5 million euro funding project. Currently, they are working as a Laboratory Technician at Wildcat Discovery Technologies.

Maximilian de Rozieres obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin between 2016 and 2018. Maximilian then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Materials Science from Grenoble INP - Phelma between 2018 and 2019, followed by another Master's degree in Materials Science from Aalto University between 2019 and 2020.
