Andrew Deering

Andrew Deering is currently employed as a Robotics Software Engineer at Wilder Systems Robots since October 2023. Previously, Andrew served as a Robotics Software Developer at Trinity University from January 2022 to May 2023, where responsibilities included implementing autonomous navigation for a TurtleBot 2 and designing a QR code computer vision search algorithm. Andrew has also worked as an Electronics Shop Assistant Technician and participated in research as a Research Assistant, conducting experiments and managing data related to haptic devices. In a prior role as a Research Assistant, Andrew designed and built a remote control rover. Andrew's professional experience is complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from Trinity University, earned in 2023.
