Soheil Sarabandi

Soheil Sarabandi is a seasoned robotics software engineer with extensive experience in motion planning, inverse kinematics, object classification, and machine learning. Currently, Soheil holds a position as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at Wilder Systems Robots, having previously worked at OnRobot as a Senior Software Developer, where contributions included developing applications for industrial robotics. Other notable roles include a Robotics Engineer at Centro di Ricerca "E. Piaggio," where Soheil focused on soft robotic hand projects for Bosch, and a position at IRI - Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial, which involved multi-tasking industrial robot calibration. Soheil also conducted research at Imperial College London on in-hand manipulation using soft fingertips. Educational achievements include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
