Wilderness Inquiry
Sarah Oppelt is an experienced educator and wilderness leader with a strong background in science and STEM curriculum development. Since August 2015, Sarah has served as a teacher at the School of Environmental Studies and has also been teaching at Upper Mississippi Academy since 2013. Prior teaching roles include positions at River's Edge Academy, where Sarah developed and taught science curriculum, and an earlier role at the School of Environmental Studies focusing on environmental education. Additionally, Sarah has been a trail staff member at Wilderness Inquiry since 2004, leading outdoor trips for diverse groups. Academic credentials include a Master of Education in Science Teacher Education from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northland College.
