Amy Chris is a seasoned paramedic and educator with extensive experience in emergency health services and wilderness medicine. Currently serving as a servicing representative for the Hospital Employees' Union and Regional Vice President for the Ambulance Paramedics of BC, Amy has also held roles with BC Emergency Health Services since 2000 as both a Community Paramedic and Primary Care Paramedic, where duties included mentoring and conflict resolution. Instructing wilderness medicine and first aid across Canada as the Lead Wilderness Medicine/First Aid Instructor for Wilderness Medical Associates International, Amy has further contributed to healthcare education through roles at the College of the Rockies, including First Aid Centre Coordinator and various instructorships. With entrepreneurial experience as the owner/operator of Adventure Source Tours, Amy has adeptly combined practical emergency response skills with teaching and business leadership.
