Marco Palma has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering, beginning with their role as Web Technologist at eToys.com in 1999. In 2001, they became a Software Engineer at Citysearch, where they started as a front-end developer writing static, table-centric HTML. Marco then moved to the back-end of the website, writing controllers and models drawing from the site's MySQL and Oracle databases. In 2006, they became a Senior Engineer at Tumis, where they created a web application framework for social networking and content publishing applications.
