Michael Wichman possesses extensive experience in outdoor and photography guiding, currently serving as a Photography Guide at Backcountry Journeys since March 2020. Concurrently, Michael holds the position of Greater Grand Canyon Program Manager at The Wildland Trekking Company, a role maintained since January 2017. Prior to these positions, Michael was involved with Road Scholar - Northern Arizona University as Office Manager and Field Coordinator from January 2004 to April 2022. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA, where studies took place from 1992 to 1997.
