Alix Cotumaccio

Alix Cotumaccio currently serves as the Curator of Education at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo, where responsibilities include overseeing educational programming and contributing to conservation education efforts. With extensive experience in science education, Cotumaccio has also worked as a Science Educator and Curriculum Developer at the American Museum of Natural History and held various leadership roles in youth initiatives and education at organizations such as Rocking The Boat Inc and Wave Hill. Additionally, Cotumaccio has taught environmental law courses at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and has a solid background in program management and policy analysis from previous roles at NOAA and the International START Secretariat. Alix Cotumaccio holds a JD in Environmental Law, an MSed in Science Education, and several other advanced degrees in environmental policy and science.
