Brian Smith

Brian Smith is a seasoned SAP Consultant with extensive experience in Funds Management and Grants Management across various organizations, including Penn State University, the Municipality of Anchorage, and the Wildlife Conservation Society. Currently serving as an SAP Consultant at Penn State University since October 2019, Brian has taken on pivotal roles such as team lead for Funds Management, contributing to S4/HANA implementations, and focusing on troubleshooting cash-based grant billing. Previously, Brian provided production support and developed functionalities to enhance budgeting and reporting systems for multiple clients, showcasing a strong track record in activating new features, managing complex integrations, and designing development objects to meet organizational needs. Additionally, Brian serves as President of October Consulting, Inc., delivering SAP public sector consulting services to state and local governments and universities. Brian holds a B.S. in Finance and Accountancy from Miami University.
