John F. Calvelli

EVP for Public Affairs at Wildlife Conservation Society

John Calvelli serves as the Executive Vice President of Public Affairs at the Wildlife Conservation Society, a position held since May 2000. Prior experience includes a tenure as Administrative Assistant and Counsel to Congressman Eliot Engel from January 1989 to April 2000, where oversight of Congressional office functions and legislative initiatives on various committees was undertaken. Additionally, John Calvelli worked as Associate Legislative Counsel for the New York State Assembly's Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse from 1987 to 1988. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law (1984-1987) and a B.A. in Cursu Honorum, Italian Literature and Political Science from Fordham University (1980-1984).
