Katy Puga

Katy Puga is a highly experienced communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at the Wildlife Conservation Society since February 2022. Prior to this role, Katy was a Senior Communication Consultant from November 2015 to August 2022, where strategies were designed for the Ecuador and Peru programs. Additional experience includes roles as Communication Officer at UN Ecuador, Director of Communications at MRC Mentoring, and Communications Manager at Rainforest Alliance, where significant contributions were made to communication strategies in both Ecuador and Peru. Katy's career began at USAID, where input was provided to enhance the organization's corporate image. An extensive educational background in Business Communication was obtained from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar Ecuador, further enhancing expertise in the field.
