Nicole Beckett

Nicole Beckett is an experienced animal care and conservation professional currently serving as an Animal Encounters Seasonal Associate at the Wildlife Conservation Society since May 2021. In this role, Nicole educates visitors about environmental conservation efforts and animal care at the Bronx Zoo, while also assisting in maintaining animal exhibits and providing basic animal care. As a pet sitter for The Pampered Pooch since 2016, Nicole ensures the health and well-being of various dogs through services such as walking, feeding, grooming, and administering medication. Previously, as a Nature Apprentice at Crestwood Country Day Camp from June 2017 to August 2019, Nicole led educational classes on animals and conservation while caring for multiple species. Nicole is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Rollins College, expected to graduate in May 2024, after completing a high school diploma at Great Neck South High School in June 2020.
