Veronica Miller is an experienced education manager and conservation educator with a strong background in wildlife conservation and environmental education. Since January 2012, Veronica has served as Manager of Education at the Bronx Zoo for the Wildlife Conservation Society, where responsibilities include developing annual programming to meet significant revenue goals, leading a team, and enhancing team cohesion. Previous roles encompass Senior Conservation Educator, where programming for school groups was developed, and Conservation Educator, where a profitable overnight program for adults was initiated. Earlier experience includes environmental assessment at the North Carolina Department of Transportation, teaching and research roles at North Carolina State University, and educational programming at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Veronica holds a Master’s degree in Zoology with a focus on Fisheries and Wildlife Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Classical Studies from North Carolina State University.
