Sylvia Tulloch

Sylvia Tulloch has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. In 2020, they became the Chairperson of Zeotech Limited, an Australian industrial kaolin and mineral processing technology company. Sylvia is involved in driving industry partnerships and the future production of manufactured zeolites. Sylvia is also working with Griffith University to develop agricultural applications for zeolites and assessing potential carbon capture markets.

Since 2015, Tulloch has been the Chairperson of Lava Blue Limited, a science-led company focused on developing high purity materials for batteries and clean energy technologies. Sylvia aims to add value to Australian energy minerals for the global shift to clean energy.

Tulloch also serves as a Director at SunDrive Solar, a company involved in solar energy. Sylvia is the Chairperson of Balance Mat, a company focused on developing sensors for medical applications. Additionally, they serve as a Mentor and Chairperson of the Trustee Board at Griffin Accelerator, an organization supporting startups.

In 2009, Tulloch became a Director of Uniflow Power, a company specializing in power generation technology. Sylvia is also a Director of Wildlife Drones, a company involved in drone technology for wildlife monitoring.

Tulloch is the Director of Perimeter Security Industries, a holding company for Balance Mat Pty Ltd. This company specializes in developing sensor technology for intruder detection and medical applications.

In 2019, Tulloch co-founded and became a Director of Greatcell Energy, a company focused on energy technology. Sylvia is involved in the development and operations of the company.

Lastly, Tulloch is the Chairperson of Quizling Pty Ltd, an education technology platform for creating and sharing quizzes. The company has received grants, investments, and has a network of respected investors.

Sylvia Tulloch attended North Sydney Girls High School from 1964 to 1969, where they obtained their Higher School Certificate (HSC). Sylvia then pursued higher education at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 1970 to 1980, earning both a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Science (MSc) degree. Their field of study at UNSW was Materials Science with a focus on Ceramics.
