David Barlia is a seasoned engineer specializing in game development, particularly in virtual reality and Unity technologies. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Unity & VR at Wildlife, David has been instrumental in creating the Joker's Escape experience for DC Comics' FanDome events. An independent project includes the development of HandsOnVR, a library focusing on mass-based grab mechanics utilizing Oculus Touch controllers. Past experience includes positions as Senior Gameplay Engineer at Age of Learning, Inc., and Senior VR Engineer at Magnopus, where David developed innovative audio systems and gameplay mechanics. Other notable roles encompass contributions to the Titanfall franchise at Particle City and the design of a Kinect-driven game installation for clients such as Toyota and Yahoo Sports.
