Erick Fernandes da Cruz has a diverse work experience in the game development industry. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Trainee Software Developer at Núcleo de Tecnologias Educacionais UFABC / Universidade Aberta do Brasil, where they developed a game using Unity3D and worked on application development projects.

In 2017, they joined Ambra Gaming as a Junior Software Developer, focusing on software development in C++ for Linux platforms and platform maintenance.

Erick then went on to work at CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior in 2018 as a Scholarship student of Master's degree in Computer Science at UFABC. During this time, they worked on supervised image segmentation projects and provided tutoring to undergraduate students in Computer Science.

Returning to Ambra Gaming in 2019, Erick took on the role of Technical Lead | Software Developer, managing a team of programmers and implementing agile methodologies in software development projects. Erick also continued their software development work in C++.

In 2021, Erick joined Wildlife Studios as a Game Engineer, where they participated in the development and maintenance of games for IOS & Android, with a focus on the game "War Machines". Erick took on increasing responsibilities in subsequent roles, including Technical Lead positions. Their work involved developing new functionalities, creating and monitoring metrics, and participating in on-call programs to ensure game stability.

Erick's expertise lies in game development, software development in C++, and project management. Their experience spans from technical roles to leadership positions, showcasing their ability to contribute to the success of game projects.

Erick Fernandes da Cruz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Science and Technology from Universidade Federal do ABC, from 2011 to 2017. Erick then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Computer Graphics and Image Processing, from Universidade Federal do ABC, which they completed in 2020. In addition, they have obtained various certifications in subjects such as mathematics for video games, programming in various languages, and data analysis and visualization from institutions like Udemy, Coursera, IBM, and the TOEIC Program.
