WILDPLASTIC
Christian Sigmund has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Christian is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of wildplastic, a company dedicated to rescuing and repurposing plastic waste. Prior to that, they were a member of Entrepreneur First's Berlin Cohort in 2018. Christian also worked as a Producer at Streamwerke GmbH, where they organized a livestream event to motivate young people in Germany to vote in major elections. Christian has also worked at YouTube as a Community / Partner Manager, supporting and enabling German YouTube creators. Christian started conversations and ran the Twitter social strategy for @YTCreatorsDE. Earlier in their career, Christian worked as an Account Strategist at Google, advising top companies on online marketing solutions. Additionally, they have entrepreneurial experience, having founded and managed two ecommerce companies: urbanstoke and Crossroads Boardshop, specializing in longboarding and skateboarding products.
Christian Sigmund completed their Abitur from Ernst-Kalkuhl Gymnasium between the years 1999 and 2008. Christian then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communication Management from HS Fresenius Köln, which they obtained between the years 2009 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, Christian obtained a Duolingo Spanish Fluency certification at an intermediate level from Duolingo in February 2016. Their Bachelor of Arts degree was obtained from Hochschule Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, although the specific month and year are not provided.
