Suzie Wiley

Suzie Wiley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in architecture and human-centred design. Since 2003, Suzie has served as the Managing Director at Wiley, overseeing large-scale projects in the food processing and education sectors, ensuring that solutions are functional and tailored to user needs. Previously, as the Executive Director on the Board of the Family Company, Suzie contributed expertise in designing industrial processes for the food industry. Suzie founded and facilitated Surroundings, a consultancy specializing in human-centred design from 2008 to 2023. Earlier career experience includes working as an architect at Ellivo Architects from 1999 to 2002. Suzie holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Psychology from James Cook University and various degrees in architecture and property economics from QUT and Politecnico di Milano.
