David Gross

David Gross is a prominent expert in international telecommunications, currently serving as a Partner at Wiley Rein since April 2009. Gross holds a distinguished background as the U.S. Ambassador and Coordinator for International Communications and Information Policy at the U.S. Department of State from August 2001 to January 2009, where responsibilities included leading U.S. negotiations on international telecom and Internet policies. Prior to this, Gross provided legal counsel as Washington Counsel for AirTouch Communications from 1994 to 2000 and worked as an Associate and Partner at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP from 1979 to 1994. Gross earned a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
