Dörthe Mellmann

Dörthe Mellmann, Ph.D., is a chemist and editor currently serving as Deputy Editor for the Asian Journal of Organic Chemistry and as a Specialist Advisor at Bela Aqua GmbH. With a PhD focused on catalysis for energy technologies from the Leibniz-Institute for Catalysis e.V., Dörthe has extensive experience in literature research, writing, and editing scientific papers, particularly in sustainable chemistry and catalysis. Previously, Dörthe worked as an Associate Editor for ChemistrySelect at Wiley-VCH, where they managed the editorial workflow and engaged in author workshops. Dörthe has also conducted research in Florence, Italy, and holds a diploma in chemistry from the University of Rostock.
