Dr. Koustav Dey

Dr. Koustav Dey currently serves as an Editor for the Journal of Sensors at Wiley and is a Post Doctoral Scientist at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Dr. Dey has extensive experience in academia, having mentored numerous students through programs at the University of California, Berkeley and held various positions related to optics and photonics with organizations such as The Optical Society (OSA), IEEE, and SPIE. As a member of multiple professional societies, Dr. Dey engages in collaborative efforts and editorial roles, contributing to the advancement of the field. Dr. Dey completed a Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on developing fiber optic-based sensors and has served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Scholar Representative at the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
