Etzer K. Botes

Etzer K. Botes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Enterprise Strategy at Wiley since May 2021, Botes previously held the role of Executive Director of Strategy at Kaplan, where responsibilities included leading go-to-market strategies and business development efforts. Prior experience includes a managerial position in Strategy and Operations at Deloitte Consulting, advising multinational corporations and other organizations, as well as a directorial role at the NYC Department of Education overseeing financial and operational performance for public charter schools. Additional roles include contributions to Housing Works, Teach for America, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Botes holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from New York University.
