Hemang Shah

Hemang Shah has worked in various roles throughout their career. Hemang started their career in 1995 as a SAP Consultant at Birla Consulting. Hemang then worked as a SAP Team member (Consultant) at Chevron in 1996. In 1997, they held the position of SAP Team lead (Consultant) at MSA - The Safety Company and Miller Brewing Company MBCO. Hemang joined Modis in 1997 as a Manager Team Lead. At Sanofi, they held multiple roles from 2003 to 2019, including Head of Enterprise Apps and Head of Readiness for a global ERP rollout program. Shah then co-founded Verteza Digital Inc. in 2019 and served as the Chief Digital and Information Officer. Hemang is currently working at Wiley as the VP of Data Science, Engineering, and Insights, focusing on leveraging data and AI for new business revenue models and unlocking the value of data assets.

Hemang Shah completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering (A Govt. Aided Autonomous Institute), Sangli-M.S from 1988 to 1992. Hemang also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Shivaji University during the same period. In terms of additional certifications, Hemang completed various courses including "Creating a Culture of Strategy Execution" and "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn in June 2022. Hemang also obtained the "Leading SAFe Course (5.0)" certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2020. Hemang holds an "IT Business Leadership Academy" certification from CEB, now Gartner, which they obtained in March 2012. Additionally, they have pursued the "Project Management Professional (PMP)" certification from the Project Management Institute, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
