Leher Singh

Leher Singh is an accomplished academic and editor with a robust background in psychology and developmental science. Currently serving as Editor in Chief for Developmental Science at Wiley and Chair and Professor of Psychology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, Singh previously held significant roles at the National Science Foundation as Director of the Developmental Science Program and Acting Senior Advisor for Partnerships in the Directorate for STEM Education. Over a long tenure at the National University of Singapore, positions included Deputy Director of Humanities and Social Sciences Research and Associate Professor, along with leadership as Director for Science Affairs at the Society for Research in Child Development. Singh began an academic career as an Assistant and then Associate Professor at Boston University. Education includes a PhD from Brown University and a degree from Bryn Mawr College.
