Natalia Ortuzar has extensive experience in publishing and editorial management, currently serving as Group VP of Publishing Solutions & Performance at Wiley since May 2008. Throughout the career at Wiley, Natalia has held various leadership positions, including VP of Product Performance & Enablement and Senior Director of Product Performance, overseeing the strategic development of approximately 80 life and physical sciences journals. Prior roles included Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of ChemMedChem, where responsibilities encompassed open access policy, journal development, and managing scientific editors. Before joining Wiley, Natalia was a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Kansas, focusing on antitumor agent design. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from The School of Pharmacy, University of London, an MChem in Chemistry from Durham University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Publishing Studies from Oxford Brookes University.
