Paul Trippier

Paul Trippier is an accomplished medicinal chemist with significant experience in drug discovery and research. Paul began as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Cardiff University, focusing on synthetic medicinal chemistry for antiviral and anticancer applications. Paul continued this research journey as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Northwestern University, concentrating on drug discovery for neurodegenerative diseases, particularly ALS. In February 2019, Paul joined Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center as an Assistant Professor, later becoming an Associate Professor, where research involved medicinal chemistry and chemical biology projects in oncology and pediatric neurodegenerative diseases. Currently, Paul serves as an Associate Editor for Drug Development Research at Wiley and holds the position of Director of the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as Associate Professor and Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Paul received education from the University of Oxford.
