Pete Gaughan

Pete Gaughan is a Senior Managing Editor at John Wiley & Sons, responsible for trade book production for the Wrox and Sybex imprints, as well as the Jossey-Bass imprint focused on education. They have over 30 years of experience in editing, managing author relations, manuscript development, and book design across various topics, including technology and education. Previously, Pete held roles such as Senior Editor at Sybex and Manager of Content Enablement and Operations at Wiley, where they coached authors and supervised editorial teams. Pete earned a Bachelor of Arts in humanities and languages from the University of Southern California and studied linguistics at The University of Texas at Arlington.
