Sarah Garfunkel is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in digital marketing and product management within the publishing industry. Currently serving as the Director of Digital Marketing for Wiley since August 2015, Sarah has led teams focusing on marketing strategy and campaign execution for high-revenue US society clients, while also managing digital campaigns for a portfolio of over 1,800 journals. Prior to Wiley, Sarah held senior marketing roles at Springer Science+Business Media, where responsibilities included managing global marketing for the American Geophysical Union's journal portfolio, and earlier positions at DDB and Gotham Inc. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Political Economy from the University of Puget Sound.
