Andrew Haggert, PMP, ITIL, currently serves as the Manager of AV IT & Technical Support at Wilfrid Laurier University, overseeing quality technical support services across the Waterloo and Brantford campuses since March 2017. Prior to this role, Andrew was a Project Manager at Applied Electronics Ltd, a leading company in Broadcast and Presentation Technology, from November 2010 to March 2017. Andrew held the position of Sr. Director of Studio Operations at BTV+ for over 13 years, managing operations for distance learning studios across North America. Andrew began a career in media as a Freelance Video Shader for Skyline Media Inc, working on various live productions from 1994 to 2002, and served as a Technical Producer at Shaw Communications from February 1990 to August 1997. Andrew earned a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Windsor between 1984 and 1989.
