Brendan Stewart

Brendan Stewart is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event planning and coordination, currently serving as the Professional Development Coordinator at Wilfrid Laurier University since October 2021. Prior to this role, Brendan held positions such as Special Events Programmer for the City of Brantford and Constituency Assistant to MPP Jane McKenna. Brendan's career began in event management with the Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board, where over five years, milestone events were planned, including seminars and charity galas. Past experience also includes roles at the Holiday Inn Oakville-Centre and the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, where Brendan established new attendance records for significant events. Brendan holds a diploma in Hotel & Resort Operations from Georgian College and has pursued courses in graphic design.
