Christine Dale

Christine Dale, CPA, CA has over 19 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Christine began their career at BDO Canada as a Staff Accountant before moving on to Ernst & Young, where they held various roles including Senior Staff Accountant, Manager of Audit & Assurance Services, and Senior Manager of Audit & Assurance Services. In 2012, Christine joined Wilfrid Laurier University as the Manager of Integrated Academic Financial Services and later served as the Associate Director of Academic Resource Management & Planning. Christine then became the Director of Financial Services before transitioning to their current role as the Director of Financial Reporting & Systems. Their responsibilities at Wilfrid Laurier University include overseeing general accounting, financial reporting, financial systems, and financial services. Christine has extensive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls.

Christine completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategic Management & Organizational Behaviour/HR Management at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Chartered Accountant certification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accounts in 2004. In 2002, Christine earned a Diploma in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the same institution from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Christine has obtained the certification of being Dare to Lead Trained from Dare to Lead™ Trained in 2023.
